Custom Leather Patch Hat – Low Profile Performance Cap | Laser Engraved Faux Leather Logo Patch

Your logo laser engraved on a faux leather patch and heat pressed onto a low profile performance cap: lighter, softer, and less prominent on the head than a structured trucker. Fixed pricing on 1 to 6 hats covers the cap, the patch and the engraving. There is no digitizing fee, because a laser works from your artwork, not from a stitch file.

Patch colors

• Bourbon Brown: a medium brown patch. Your design engraves black.
• Light Brown: a light brown patch. Your design engraves black.

The patch is laserable faux leather (PU leatherette), not animal hide. It has a consistent color and grain from hat to hat.

Artwork rules: please read before you upload

A laser engraves in one tone. Every part of your design is either engraved or it is not, with nothing in between. Some artwork is a great fit for that and some can't be reproduced at all.

• One color only. Your design engraves in the single tone that goes with your patch color. A multi-color logo is converted to one color.
• Solid shapes and clean lines. No gradients, shading, shadows, glows, photographs or 3D effects.
• Keep it bold. At patch size, lines should be at least 0.02 in (0.5 mm) thick and lettering at least 1/8 in tall. Finer detail fills in or disappears.
• File types. Vector artwork is preferred (SVG, AI, EPS or PDF). A PNG or JPG works if it is black and white, sharp, and at least 1,000 pixels wide.
• AI-generated artwork. Image generators tend to produce soft shading, fine texture and tiny details that a laser can't hold. We can engrave it only if it is, or can be simplified to, a clean one-color design.
• Your artwork, your permission. Upload only artwork you own or have permission to use. We don't reproduce licensed characters, sports teams or other companies' trademarks.

We review every file before anything is made. If yours needs a small cleanup, we do it and show you the result on your proof. If it needs to be redrawn, we quote that first. If it can't be reproduced well on a patch, we will tell you before production.

Patch size and shape Patches are sized to suit your design, up to about 3.5 in wide by 2.25 in tall. The standard shape is a rounded rectangle.
