Collection: Bramble & Bone

Beautiful, and a little bit deadly. Bramble & Bone is our dark botanical line: poison plants, gothic lace, skulls, ravens, and the things that grow in the shadowed part of the woods. Embroidered to order.

The poison garden. Deadly Nightshade, Wolfsbane, Poison Ivy, Hemlock, Hellebore, and Bloodroot, each stitched with the plant's name below it in red. Apothecary-plate botanicals for anyone who has ever wanted a poison garden they can wear.

The lace. Skull, Skull Border, Bird Skull, Raven, Bat, Ghost, Pumpkin, Rose, and Tree, worked in fine Victorian-style lace and filigree.

The dark creatures. Dragon, Sea Serpent, Snake, Wolf, Cat, Fairy, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Butterfly, drawn in the same lacework. Fairy tale creatures with the sweetness taken out.

Twenty-four designs in all, shown above the way they actually stitch: light thread on a dark ground. You pick yours on the product page, where the design list previews the original artwork instead, so some designs appear there reversed as dark linework on light.

Every piece is made to order on the west side of Indianapolis and ships in 3 to 5 business days.
