How Pricing Works

One-Time Digitizing Fee

To get clean, production-ready embroidery, your logo has to be “digitized” – turned into a stitch file the machine can read. We handle that setup for you using Embrilliance StitchArtist L3 or a trusted specialist.

• Digitizing fee: $30 (per logo)
• Waived on bulk orders: Free when you order 15 or more caps with the same logo.
• Note: Digitizing is only available as part of a custom embroidery order; we don’t sell stitch files on their own.

Per-Cap Embroidery Cost

Embroidery cost is based on stitch count — the more stitches, the more machine time and thread. Behind the scenes, pricing is built from a simple stitch-based formula plus the cost of the blank cap and production time.

• Base embroidery rate: About $1.00 per 1,000 stitches
• Example: A 7,500-stitch logo ≈ $7.50 in embroidery cost before hat and labor.
• Blank cap: A typical Richardson 112 runs about $7 per hat.
• Typical text-only 112: Ends up around $22 per hat (hat + embroidery included).
• Typical logo 112: A logo up to about 9,000 stitches usually lands around $28 per hat (hat + embroidery included).
• Equipment: All caps are run on our SmartStitch S1201 12-needle commercial machine for consistent, repeatable results.

Some listings, like our Richardson 112 packages, bundle the hat and embroidery into a single per-cap price so you can see an all-in cost up front. Tax and shipping are additional.
